Do I have to attend all three parts of the challenge?

Only if you're participating in the U.K. competition.

You only have to complete all three parts if you are taking part in one of our competitions. Otherwise, we encourage you to complete the Level Up lessons at your own pace.

What materials do I need to download?

All you need is a phone, a laptop, and access to the internet.

1. On your laptop, download Lens Studio.
2. On your phone, download Snapchat.
We appreciate not everyone owns their own laptop or phone so if you are downloading onto school devices or a family/friends make sure to notify them and get their permission!

Who can join?

We're on a quest to make AR more accessible.

Anyone can learn to make Lenses from our Level Up lessons. In addition, we host Challenges throughout the year for secondary school / college students (16 years or older) who are interested in designing in augmented reality.

We’re looking for participants to come prepared with a beginner's mindset, deep curiosity, and creative courage! A familiarity with the English language, a 2-dimensional design background, and experience with software tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc. is highly encouraged.
